Waiting
As a social documentary photographer with a deep fascination in my urban surroundings, I find myself increasingly drawn to the cultural phenomenon of waiting. Human beings are consistently in modes of wait and I have aimed to record waiting individuals during these mundane intervals, pausing already still moments in order to understand their intentions, situations and experiences. Being on hold is, in many cases, unavoidable. Even the most privileged must, at times, wait. Therefore, I am intrigued with the types of waiting people of a certain class, social group or status, engage in.
